| Reverse
Buttons Lefties get no respect. They're second-class citizens in a right-handed
world, and there's no exception when it comes to computers. It might not make
a big difference to most people, but the standard configuration of buttons on
a mouse can be frustrating for some lefties. To compensate for differences in
dexterity, left-handed users might prefer to reverse their mouse buttons. Here's
how to do it: 1. Open your registry and find this key: HKEY_CURRENT_USERControl
PanelMouse. If you can't find it, create it. 2. Create or modify the
string value 'SwapMouseButtons', and set it to 1 to reverse your buttons. Ban
the Beep The internal PC speaker is capable of creating some of the most
annoying sounds known to man. If you get as agitated as I do by this high-pitched
cacophony, there's a simple way to make it stop. Disable the beeping
with this simple tweak: 1. Open your registry and find this key: HKEY_CURRENT_USERControl
PanelSound 2. Create or modify the string value named "Beep", and set it
to "No" to disable the infernal beeping. |
